The WCIC 2026 brings together KSI karateka from around the world for a focused training programme, technical refinement and shared learning, hosted in the West Midlands, England.

Thursday 26 March 10:00 – 15:00 14yrs+ 3rd Kyu and above only – timing training plus sparring and refereeing practice.
15:30 – 17:30 Dan Grading with WCI's
Friday 27 March Rest day – no formal training scheduled.
Saturday 28 March 10:00 – 15:00 All grades – World Chief Instructor sessions.
Sunday 29 March 10:00 – 15:00 All grades – World Chief Instructor sessions (continuation and closing).

Travel and Local Hotels

There is no specific KSI hotel for this event. Please book directly with the hotel of your choice (estimates correct at time of writing)

Travellers arriving at Birmingham Airport (BHX) can take frequent direct trains from Birmingham International station to Birmingham New Street, where a wide range of city-centre hotels is available. From the city centre, the venue is only a short taxi ride away. For those flying into other airports such as London or Manchester, it is recommended to book a connecting train to Birmingham New Street for the final stage of your journey.

There are several hotels close to the venue, and we recommend booking your accommodation as early as possible to avoid disappointment. For those who prefer to stay in Birmingham city centre and enjoy the wider area, Uber provides the simplest way to travel to the venue. At the time of writing, a typical journey costs around £12.
